Management Information Systems

The Management Information Systems department provides support primarily for Colleague software. Including:

Business Office operations

  • General Ledger
  • Purchasing
  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchasing

Human Resources operations

  • Personnel
  • Payroll

Student operations

  • Student Records
  • Faculty and Course administration
  • Billing and Accounts Receivable
  • Financial Aid Services

Student and Staff Web services related to the above functions are supported by SelfService and WebAdvisor software.

System Schedule

Colleague functions are generally available to staff from 5:00am to Midnight; 7 days per week. Backups to the system occur nightly after midnight. (Updates to the system my occasionally require some 'down' time, which typically occurs once per month, on a Saturday morning.)

SelfService and WebAdvisor functions are normally available 24 hours per day; 7 days per week.
