After your Advisement Appointment, please take a moment to complete a quick survey about your experience with your Academic Advisor. You could have a shot at a $5 gift certificate to Subway.
Monday-Friday: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.
NOTE: Although our goal is to stick as closely as we can to this schedule, it is subject to change without notice. Students are welcome to call ahead to determine if there have been any changes. Our office telephone number is 217-443-8750. We look forward to assisting you.
We operate on a walk - in basis through October 23
Every Wednesday is a Walk-in day. Appointments will be scheduled during our registration period.
Students are strongly encouraged to call a day or two ahead to confirm advisor availability.
General hours to sign in for walk-ins during our fall schedule are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
When coming for a walk-in with an advisor, please have your student ID number available. For the best advisement possible, students are scheduled with the advisor who specializes in their major/career goal.
New Students: Before we can schedule an appointment, you must complete the Admission process, including a New Student Orientation and submitting test scores (ACT, SAT) or take placement assessments here at DACC.
Current and Returning Students: We are unable to register students who owe a balance to the College. If you are unsure, you can check your account through your myDACC acount or contact the Cashier at 217-443-8767.
When students come on a walk-in basis during the busy registration season, they should be prepared for some waiting time. We plan 30-45 minutes per appointment and calculate wait times accordingly. We appreciate your patience as we give each and every DACC student the individual attention and thorough academic advisement that they deserve.
DACC will be closed:
September 7 - Labor Day
October 12 - Columbus Day
November 11 - Veteran's Day
November 26-27 - Thanksgiving
