Danville Area Community College occupies fourteen buildings on 71 acres of ground. The Physical Plant is comprised of three departments:
The Maintenance staff is responsible for maintaining the physical properties of the buildings and grounds. Their work hours are from 7a.m. to 3:30p.m., Monday through Friday. They are located in the Operations Facility building.
The Building Services staff is responsible for maintaining the buildings in a sanitary condition along with activity set-ups. The Building Services staff has five work shifts. The majority of the staff works second shift. Their main office is located in the lower level of Lincoln Hall.
The Security Staff is comprised of two full-time employees and one part-time employee. A Security firm provides coverage during all other times. Their office is located in the lower level of Lincoln Hall.
