Health Information Technology

The DACC Health Information Technology Program (HIT) trains students to work in the ever expanding world of Health Information Management (HIM). The program is accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) which enables program graduates to sit for the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential.

Cancer Registry Management

Cancer registrars serve as data information specialists, most frequently working in hospitals and central registries in a variety of roles such as Certified Tumor Registrars (CTR) *, Oncology Data Analysts, or as CTR Consultants. Professionals in the field forward the mission of capturing a complete history,
