To maximize the probability of academic success, Danville Area Community College students are expected to attend all meetings of classes and scheduled laboratory sessions in which they have enrolled. The College has no policy allowing students to "cut" classes.

Students may be withdrawn from classes by the instructors for excessive absences or failure to complete assignments.

It is the student's responsibility to notify the instructor and the Dean of Student Services if a situation requires extended absences from classes.
