Student Trustee

1007 Student Trustee

The student member serves one year beginning April 15 through April 14 of the following year. The non-voting student shall be a full-time student (carrying twelve (12) or more credit hours) and shall be elected by a campus-wide student election. Said member is not required to be a resident of Community College District No. 507. The student trustee election is to be held between April 1 and 14 each year.

The non-voting student member shall attend all meetings of the Board of Trustees and has the privilege of making or seconding motions. The Board may grant the Student Trustee a recorded advisory vote. If the position is vacated, the unexpired term shall be filled by campus-wide student election.
