Industrial Career Pathways is a 100% grant funded, short-term, competency based training program for manufacturing. Targeted to reach incumbent workers and job seekers, ICP provides an opportunity to upskill the current workforce, as well as provide a stronger pipeline of individuals seeking careers in manufacturing.
This program is driven by the input of local manufacturers, and flexible to include self-paced instruction, classroom theory, and hands-on practical learning.
To date, program participants have averaged a 25% increase in their mechanical aptitude skills and troubleshooting abilities upon completion of the mechanical skills training. ICP also provides an opportunity for participants to earn their OSHA 10 Hour General Industry wallet card and complete Tooling-U industrial based online courses.
