Thurs., Oct. 3, 2019

The DACC Diversity Team is hosting the Hope Heals Expo; Thursday, October 3; 11AM-Noon; DACC Bremer Theater.  Free and open to DACC students and employees. The expo will feature Kevin Hines, mental health advocate, award-winning speaker, bestselling author and documentary filmmaker. At 19, Kevin tried to take his life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. The fall broke his body, but not his spirit. His story chronicles an extraordinary will to live mentally well in the face of mental illness. It reminds us that living mentally well takes time, endurance, hard work and support.
