Teaching Philosophy
Education is one thing in life no one can take away. Once you have applied yourself and learned the information, no person can remove it. Knowledge is power and every person should ascertain all they can. I also believe that life gives us experiences that should be applied to learning. "A Lesson in Life" is one of my primary objectives. To influence persons to use life lessons in concert with the knowledge they gain to become a holistic being is my primary principle.

Personal Information:
I love to run. It gives me the freedom to express myself while pressing toward a goal. I have participated in several marathons and mini-marathons. I enjoy all sports and I love to boat and ski. I am part-owner in a counseling business, East Central Illinois Humanistics Inc., which keeps me grounded and humble in my discipline. I enjoy reading the Bible and practicing principles that assist me and other in life. I love people and I love watching (sometimes helping) them grow and mature. My wife's name is Laura and I have two children, Rickey Jr. and Amy..
