COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this course, you will learn how to manage, create, and design content and artwork for blogging platforms (CMS). You will learn how to prepare and export work for CMS.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • Appraise the technical resources—CMS platforms, and software applications used to integrate artwork—given and ascertain and evaluate the resources' value regarding project completion.
  • Compose professional visually-problem-solving procedures by formulating concepts based upon a recognition of web design and graphic design dilemmas.
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in collaborating with classmates and creating inspirational design work by organizing and integrating concepts from multiple viewpoints to employ an efficient work ethic and criterion.
  • Demonstrate technological skills (working with web design, CMS sites, and conducting internet research) and be able to recognize the flux and rapidity of technological advances in web-based graphic design CMS sites.

EVALUATION:
A point system will be used to evaluate a student's progress. Points will be assigned to all work, such as lab projects, class participation, research papers, presentations, quizzes, tests and a final exam.
