BACC100 Introduction to Accounting (Fall and Spring) – 3.0 hours
Course Description: This course is designed for career-oriented and transfer students needing an understanding of accounting for a successful business career as well as preparation for Financial Accounting CACC 101.  Fundamental concepts and principles are emphasized for managerial and financial applications.  These disciplines are used to complete the accounting cycle for a service oriented business.  This includes the preparation and analysis of journal and ledger entries, and financial statements which are the underlying foundations of this course.

BACC120 Principles of Finance (Spring) – 3.0 hours
Course Description: Principles of finance including instruments and procedures used for loans and investments to meet the demand for funds in the capital markets. Emphasis placed on business finance and financial management.

BACC130 Payroll Accounting (Spring) – 3.0 hours
Course Description: Details work involved from time of hiring employee, recording hours worked, to issuance of paychecks. Involves tax deductions, demonstrates complexity of accounting entries necessary in payroll accounting.

BACC228 Computerized Accounting (Summer and Fall) – 3.0 hours
Course Description: Emphasis placed on analysis and interpretation of accounting data, and applying this data to computerized entries. The student will master techniques for evaluating and interpreting data as a means of solving business problems.

Course Description: The course focus is on general tax problems of individuals with emphasis of tax regulations and special filings.
