DACC LISTS HONOR STUDENTS FALL 2021

Danville Area Community College has released a list of its honor students for the Fall 2021 Semester.
 
A student must carry 12 or more credit hours and a straight A (4.0) average on a 4.0 scale to be included on the President’s List. To be included on the Honor’s List, a student must carry 12 or more credit hours and have a B+ (3.5) grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

DACC Late Start Classes for Spring 2022

It’s not too late to register for Spring classes at Danville Area Community College. The Spring 2022 late start classes begin February 14 and March 14.

DACC will be offering in-person and online late start classes.

DACC’s College For Kids Spring Fling 2022

Danville Area Community College’s Community Education department is offering College For Kids Spring Fling 2022. See the individual camp information for exact dates, times and ages.

DACC Adult Education Spring 2022 Classes

Enrollment for spring 2022 ABE/GED/High School Equivalency test prep courses, ESL classes and CNA is now open at Danville Area Community College. These Adult Education classes are FREE!

• ABE/GED/HISET day classes will be Jan. 18-Mar. 10 on Mon.-Thurs. from 9AM-Noon.

• English As A Second Language (ESL) classes will be held Jan. 18-Mar. 10 on Mon.-Thurs. from 8AM-11AM.

DACC Holds Nursing Recognition Ceremony

A nursing recognition ceremony took place December 16, 2021 in the Mary Miller Center Gymnasium at Danville Area Community College. Fifteen students graduated in this ceremony.

Healthcare Professions Training Offered by DACC’s Corporate Education

Danville Area Community College’s Corporate Education department is offering Healthcare Professions training starting January 18, 2022. The following training is being offered:

• PHLEBOTOMY TECHNIQUES training will be held Tuesdays & Thursdays, January 18-April 14, 2022 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. This course is a non-Nursing course aimed at the technical skills and knowledge required for blood collection. Students will develop skills in performing phlebotomy procedures in various health care settings. Fee of $450 is due at the time of registration.

DACC Spring 2022 Dual Credit Programs for High School Students

Danville Area Community College’s Dual Credit program allows high school students to take college-level courses and receive college and high school credits. The completed courses and grades are recorded on both the high school transcript and college transcript. The courses must be approved by the high school in advance. The Spring 2022 term begins Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Choose your Winter Term class: Art Appreciation, U.S. History to 1865, Survey of Statistics, Non-Western Comparative Government and Intro to Psychology.

Online Learning Orientation is required for all first-time online learners.
