A.A.S. Administrative Professional, Danville Area Community College (in progress)
Born and raised just north of Boston, Jeanne relocated to Danville in 1996. She has been working in her current position at DACC since October 2007, and is 18 credits shy of completing her A.A.S. Administrative Professional.
Her husband, Chris, is a highly respected researcher/writer in the field of advanced technologies in ancient civilizations. Jeanne toured with Chris in Egypt in 2013, and it was one of the highlights of her life. They have raised three boys, now grown, and have one granddaughter who lights up their lives. They now ‘parent’ three rescue pets; one ornery cat, Spike, and two happy dogs, Harry and Trixie (who is a tripawd).
Jeanne is also passionate about performing arts, books, writing, crafting and creating visual art. She is a Reiki practitioner (Level II, looking forward to attaining Master level), and loves her essential oils, crystals and stones, and Tarot/oracle decks.
She likens her front line position in the Academic Advisement and Counseling Office to air traffic control – keep things running smoothly, help students avoid obstacles, to see who they need to see, and get where they need to go in a timely, efficient manner.
