Isela Rangel A.S.A. Danville Area Community College, 2002 B.S. Family and Consumer Science, Major Financial Literacy, Minor Business Adm., Eastern Illinois University, 2018 Isela is a familiar face at DACC. She previously worked in frontline services as a Records Specialist from 2011 until 2015 and as an Administrative Assistant for the Math, Sciences and Health Professions division until 2018. With over seven years of experience she is well equipped to answer student questions! Isela lives in Bismarck with her husband, Enrique and four children, Natalia, Eva, Enrique Jr. and Elsa. Her family is her most important priority. She loves spending time watching tv with them especially... “The Middle” (reruns), “90-day fiance”, “ The Pioneer Woman” or any competitive baking show. She is also a fan of the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Bulls (especially in the 90’s) and our local Post 210 baseball teams. One day she hopes to meet Javy Baez! Isela would like to encourage students to take a leap of faith in their education. Not succeeding the first time only provides a clearer perspective on how to do it right the next time. Failure only provides another opportunity to succeed. “I’ve failed over and over and over again. And that is why I succeed.” - Michael Jordan |
