Degree/Certificate Requirements direct a student’s educational choices and ensure that the proper courses are taken in the correct sequence. These guides have been created to facilitate a student’s ability to transfer to the 4-year institution of his/her choice or to enter the work force in a timely fashion.
The first two years of most baccalaureate programs can be completed at Danville Area Community College. Specific transfer degree requirements are in place for students entering some of the more popular programs at the most admired four-year colleges and universities. DACC has created these guides to facilitate the transfer process for our students. They are listed first by academic year, then by major, and finally by transfer school.
This is not a finite listing of available areas of study. If there is a major that is not listed, a transfer plan can be developed between the student, the desired transfer institution, and a DACC advisor. For more information, contact an Academic Counselor or Advisor.
Career Degree/Certificate Requirements are for students who intend to earn an associate degree or certificate from DACC and enter the work force. Students should find the appropriate Degree/Certificate Requirements for their major.
Gainful employment consumer information will be available soon for each certificate program by the year.
Please see the counselor who advises your major if you have any questions or if you are unable to find the Degree/Certificate Requirements you need.
