I. Student Responsibilities
Students will be expected to read each section and study the textbook
examples. Each student
will also be expected to complete the assigned exercises in
the section discussed during the class
period. Homework will be discussed each class period,
and students will be expected to come
prepared for this discussion. It is the student’s
responsibility to attend all class sessions. It is
essential that the student arrive on time and stay the entire
class period unless extenuating
circumstances interfere. Attending class and arriving
to class on time must be a priority in your
life if you are going to succeed. These are habits which
will be of value to you throughout your life.
II. Disruptive Behavior
It is my goal to provide a learning environment which will allow
each student to succeed academically.
Behavior which interferes with the educational process
will not be tolerated. Cheating on examinations,
quizzes, or lab exercises will result in the student receiving
a grade of 0 for that activity. It is the student’s
responsibility to adhere to the DACC Student Conduct Code and
the Academic Integrity Policy, as
contained in the Student Handbook. No food or drink is
allowed in the classrooms or laboratories in Mary
Miller Center. Please help us keep our building looking
clean and neat.
