This page is dedicated to Jefferson Davis, onetime President of the Confederate States of America and the man after whom I was named.

At this point, I feel it is necessary to make a disclaimer. It is an unfortunate reality that these days, many people tend to associate the old South, the Confederacy, and the Civil War with one thing and one thing only: slavery. I naturally do not support the concept of slavery, and my interest in the Confederacy and its President should not be taken to indicate such support in any way.
