The role of the Board Development Committee is to promote the
visibility of the Vermilion County Workforce Investment Board and One-Stop
Center through providing guidance on the selection of promotional and
advertising activities.
The role of the Board
Development Committee includes the annual nomination of the Board
chairperson and Vice Chairperson, Work with the County Board Chair and the
entities identified in WIA Sec. 117 (b)(2) to identify and recruit
prospective Board members. To plan and oversee annual training requirements
and needs of Board members to ensure an informed Board prepared to carry out
the strategic plan.
The Committee meets second Tuesday of every other month.
