According to the latest labor market information, the Illinois economy will require more than 7.1 million workers by the year 2006 – up from the current workforce of 6.2 million.
The growth is expected to be fueled by continued strength in professional, technical, service, marketing and sales occupations.  Positions in these areas require various levels of education and experience, and include fields such as computer engineering, system analysis, electrical/electronic technology, paralegal support, retail sales, recreation and human resources.
