The
Illinois Migrant Council uses a targeted one stop center
approach to providing services for migrant and seasonal farm
workers, (MSFW).Many of Illinois’ migrant and seasonal farmworkers, the majority of
whom have Hispanic roots, seek assistance from the Illinois Migrant Council.Often, migrant and seasonal farm workers need assistance in accessing
Illinois’ traditional human services delivery system because of their rural
isolation, language barriers, cultural differences and mobility.
