The role of the Workforce Development Committee is to oversee and monitor the One-Stop service delivery system, and to enhance training options leading to employment in Vermilion County. The Committee is comprised of partners and stakeholders in the Vermilion County Workforce Investment Area. The partners provide employment and training services and, together with the stakeholders, develop the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) and identify barriers and possible solutions for members' employment and academic goals. The MOU describes the particular funding, arrangements for services, and operation cost of the One-Stop System.

To develop a budget for the prupose of carrying out the duties of the Local Board, subject to approval by the Chief Elected Official. To monitor the use of WIB funds, workforce investmetn activities, performance measures, and local activities are carried out in the lcoal area.
