Voter Registration Form Procedures
Under Reauthorization of the Higher Education Amendments, institutions who receive Title IV funding must make a "good faith" effort to inform their Degree seeking students of voter's registration information. DACC provides its student population with voter's information in a number of ways.
Voter's Registration information is available in the Student Handbook Packet issued to each student with his or her Student ID Cards.
Voter's Registration Information is posted on bulletin boards and in the Student Newsletters. Also, the State of Illinois Pamphlets outlining Voters Information is available in the kiosk in the Financial Aid Office and will be part of the new Student Orientation Packet.
Student Senate will take responsibility for spearheading voter's registration drives on campus. They will also act as a liaison for student contact on the DACC campus.
For more information on voter registration visit www.elections.il.gov. This is the Illinois State Board of Elections website and offers all the facts and registering information a student needs to become a registered voter.
