August 2006	Roll out of Higher Learning Commission Self-Study Process to all campus during August 2006 In-Service
September 2006	Committee chairs calls two (2) committee meetings: member orientation about process and roles; general review of criteria, assigning work assignments, data collections processes
October 2006	Fall In-Service: Full Committee Meetings and Reports to all campus; SELF-STUDY COORDINATOR ATTENDS TRAINING IN CHICAGO
Nov. - Dec. 2006	Self-Study Committee Meetings to discuss progress. Full Committees meet for third time.
January 2007	Self-Study Committee Luncheon: Keynote address by Dr. Robert Appleson, Higher Learning Commission.
Jan. - Feb. 2007	Chairs of individual committees meet with Committee members (3rd & 4th meetings) Continued dialogue about process, review criteria, develop "operating procedures", clarify charge and roles.
March 2007	The 5th committee meeting scheduled: review of the criteria, interpretation of what they mean for the college, identification of information sources, definition of tasks that need to be done to respond to criteria.
April 2007	Annual NCA meeting in Chicago attended by DACC team including representatives from steering committee.
May 9 2007	All Committees submit draft of Components and Criterion Interpretation to Steering Committee.
Summer 2007	Committees meet regularly to work on Examples of Evidence; provide weekly updates and final evidence product.
June 5 2007	Submit final Components and Criterion Interpretation.
June 16 2007	Submit one completed Example of Evidence Worksheet along with related materials.
June 30 2007	Steeing Committee meeting to review questions and share updates of committee work. Chairs submit progress report on evidence, including Example of Evidence Worksheets that have been completed to date along with related evidence materials.
Fall 2007	Intensive work on DACC's examples of evidence for each criterion. Begin writing.
January 2008	Self-Study Committee Luncheon: Keynote address by Dr. Robert Appleson, DACC Higher Learning Commission liaison.
Spring 2008	Annual NCA meeting in Chicago attended by DACC team including representatives from steering committee. Submit chapter working papers to resource team by end of semester.
Summer 2008	Work on Self-Study Report.
Fall 2008	Review completed Report draft; revisions, updates and final edits.
October 2008	Create Resource Room Subcommittee, prepare materials, arrange displays and set up resource room.
December 2008	Report to printer. Prepare call for Third Party comments.
January 2009	Submit final Self-Study Report to Higher Learning Commission and to visiting team.
January 2009	Enhance college-wide awareness and launch preparations for the March visit.
Jan. - Feb. 2009	Resource Roome Subcommitte makes final preparations on materials, arrange displays and set up resource room
February 2009	Make final visit arrangements.
Spring 2009	Higher Learning Commission Visit.
