Pi
Omega placed in the top 30 chapters internationally for overall Hallmark
Award Competition. This was our first Hallmark Award Competition.
Top 25 Chapter in the Hallmark of Scholarship. Top 25 Chapter in the Hallmark of Fellowship. Top 100 Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. Shirley B. Gordon Award
of Distinction. This was presented
to Dr. Alice Marie Jacobs in recognition of her continued dedication and
support of the organization.

2001 Pinnacle Scholarship
Award. Pi Omega received this
international award and a $100 Scholarship. This award is attained by increasing
membership by at least 10% more than in the previous year.
Five-Star Chapter Status. Pi Omega received this international award for fulfilling all requirements of the Five-Star Chapter Development Program, attaining full Five-Star status (from zero always in the past) after a single year as an active chapter, which is extremely rare. Region's Most Improved Chapter. Along with this award, Pi Omega received a full scholarship to the International Honors Institute in Greenville, SC., June 24-30, 2002. Member Starla Biage attended the Institute. Regional Leadership Hallmark Award. Pi Omega laced in the top 4 chapters in the region for this Regional Hallmark Award Competition. |
