INST 110:  ONLINE LEARNING ORIENTATION

~MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR THEIR FIRST ONLINE COURSE~
(effective beginning Summer 2008)

On Campus Sessions
Step 1:
Click here to see schedule.  Select one session to attend.
Sessions apply to Summer 2008 & Fall 2008 semesters.

Step 2:
Contact the Admissions Office at 
217-443-8800 to sign up.

Step 3:
Come to Lincoln Hall (LH) Room 204
for your session!

PLEASE NOTE:  Completion of this orientation will not provide immediate access to your online course(s).  Students will not be able to access their courses until the date that will be listed at the top of this page at the beginning of the current semester.

Sample an online course to see if online learning is right for you.  The following courses are free, 4-week (May 19 - June 14, 2008), non-credit courses that utilize the WebCT platform.  Select a course and contact the Admissions Office at 217-443-8800 to sign up.

 Basic Statistics (MATH115)
U.S. History Since 1865 (HIST152)
Professional Selling (BMGT118)

Once you have signed up, please follow these steps:

  1. Retrieve your DACC Network ID & Password
    (available after May 16, 2008)
     
  2. Log into WebCT.  Once logged in, you will see the title of the course you selected- click on it to enter the course.
