Definitions of Online Instruction

Online Classes
In an online class, all of the instruction is provided online and no face-to-face classroom instruction is required. Students may be required to attend an orientation or take proctored exams on campus or at an approved location near the student; please refer to the course schedule for more information.

Hybrid Classes
A hybrid course is an online course that requires students to visit the DACC campus at least once during the semester (for testing, lab work, et cetera). For details, please contact the instructor of the course, as the number and type of campus visits vary from one course to another. These courses have an "H" in the section code (as in BACC120 WH).
