About the Tournament

DACC to Host National Tournament for 15th Year

Danville Area Community College and the city of Danville will again host the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Men's National Basketball Tournament at the DACC campus March 19-22, 2008. The tournament features the best 12 teams in the nation with a blind draw for all positions. Each college will play a minimum of two games in the tournament. 2008 marks the 15th year that Danville has hosted the tournament and the 23rd year of the tournament.

The Jaguar Booster Club will hold a 50/50 Raffle in conjunction with the tournament. Tickets cost $1 each. The winning ticket will be drawn Saturday, March 22, during the championship game.

Raffle participants need not be present to win. All proceeds from the raffle will support DACC athletic programs.
