DACC Career Connections Job Fair 2012 and

State University Transfer Day

The annual Danville Area Community College Career Connections Job Fair is Wednesday, April 18, from 9AM to 1PM in the Mary Miller Gymnasium. Sponsored by the DACC Career Services Center, DACC Veterans Multipurpose Employment Center, the Illinois WorkNet Center, Neuhoff Communications, and the Commercial News, the Job Fair offers students and community members an opportunity to meet with area employers who have current (or near future) job openings.  More than 50 organizations have registered for the Job Fair. Participants are encouraged to dress for an interview and bring multiple resume copies to the event.

The Job Fair is being held in conjunction with the annual State University Transfer Day. Representatives from several Illinois universities will also be on hand to discuss university transfer options. Universities expected to attend: Eastern Illinois University; Illinois State University; Northern Illinois University; Southern Illinois University Carbondale; Southern Illinois University Edwardsville; University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; University of Illinois Springfield; Western Illinois University; and Chicago State University.
