- Amazing Space - a web site designed for educators, with lesson-explorations,
homework help, news, images, and teaching tools
- HubbleSite - NASA's home page
for the Hubble telescope replete with public domain images, discoveries
with explanations, general astronomy information and a quick reference
section; also includes a tonight's sky section (links into Amazing
Space)
- NASA - the NASA web site offers
a kids' section with games and information, easy to navigate areas
devoted to history, technology, particular astronomical features, and
people
- Bad Astronomy - although
unfortunately too many badly positioned ads can make this site a bit
difficult to read, this blog by a professional astronomer does a good
job of debunking bad space science
- National
Geographic: Space - this interactive space site lets users explore
various astronomical features, including an excellent interactive solar
system, as well as space flight, the universe, and stars

garden pests and diseases and a Latin plant name dictionary

site dedicated to getting children involved in gardening—includes
lots of teachers' tips, project ideas, theme ideas and even grant information

falls under NOAA's area of responsibility

about natural disasters, dynamic earth formations, habitats, weather,
and geology; a green guide offers earth-friendly tips while the NG-Environment section
explores this topic in greater depth (NG also has a Kids site that pulls
out specific topics and makes them especially kid-friendly w/games and
activities)
