Placing a Request in I-Share Online

The first step in placing a request is logging in:

You will need to provide 3 pieces of information:

• Your home library (selecting from a drop-down list)
• Your library bar code
• Your last name

Click on Login.

You only have one option; click OK.

You will need to type your library bar code one more time and then click on submit to complete your request.

When items requested through I-Share arrive at the DACC library:

• We will call you to let you know it's available.
• The item is not charged out to you until you come in and check it out.
• If you find you no longer need an item you've requested, please let us know — we will be happy to send it back so others can use it.

Placing a request requires you to log in to your account. But there are other reasons for logging into your account as well. Let's learn about I-Share Accounts.

And REMEMBER, if you have trouble with this, or any other stage in the research process, you can ask for Help! Ask your teacher! Ask Librarians! If you need to, just hit the PANIC button!
