Danville Area Community College has an immediate need for substitute teaching associates in its state of the art Child Development Center.  We encourage you to apply provided you meet the following required qualifications.  The Child Development Associate plans, performs, and supervises instructional and recreational activities for children in the Child Development Center.

Required qualifications: applicant must be at least 19 years of age; have two years of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or equivalent quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; skills and personal competence necessary to contribute to the children's physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development.  Applicants must submit to a background check.

The position is temporary according to the needs of the Child Development Center and the salary is $13.32/hour.
