Danville Area Community College is an accredited
public 2-year college that has a full time equivalent enrollment
of 1,736 annually. The College is integrally linked with the local
community of 35,000, the district of 90,000, and a vast network of
area businesses, universities, and other colleges. The College
is located in east central Illinois, 125 miles south of Chicago,
and 90 miles west of Indianapolis.

TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE 1998
Business (Business Division): Require Bachelor's Degree in Business
or Accounting. Desire CPA, JD, MBA or Master's in appropriate field.
Desire college-level teaching experience or related business experience.
Music (Liberal Arts): Unique opportunity for autonomous leadership
in building music program, including new course development. Require
Master's Degree with a minimum of Bachelor's in Music and competence to
initially teach in a secondary liberal arts or social sciences area
during development of courses. Desire Ph.D. in Music, college-level
teaching experience or related work experience.
Physical Science/Mathematics (Sciences Division):
Require Master's Degree in a field that would provide competence to
teach in Physics, Physical Science and Mathematics (through Algebra).
Desire college-level teaching experience and coursework in earth and sky
science.
Salary and rank commensurate with educational
