  3. Take the placement assessment (if needed) for successful course placement. Call 443-8708 to sign-up for assessment. Call 443-8801 if you are not sure assessment is needed. ACT and SAT scores can also be used for course placement.

Billing & Schedules

Approximately two weeks before payment is due, students will receive a copy of their bill in the mail. All payments must be received IN FULL by the billing due date, or students will be dropped from their classes. All students receiving financial aid, scholarships, or who are enrolling in our FACTS payment plan must secure payment by the due date as well. Payment can be made at the Cashier's Office in the Vermilion Hall on campus, or by mail.

Student schedules will be mailed approximately two weeks before the first day of the term.

Buying Books

Students can purchase textbooks and lab manuals from the DACC Bookstore located in the lower level of the Lincoln Hall or via the bookstore website at www.dacc.bkstr.com. Students must provide the bookstore with a copy of their schedule so it can be determined which textbooks are needed. Authorizations for Financial Aid charges will be available toward the beginning of each semester.

Student I.D. Cards

Student I.D. cards are necessary for general student identification, library use, computer lab use, and student discount status for various services around town. I.D. cards can be obtained from the Information Office in Vermilion Hall on campus at no cost.
