Teaching Philosophy:
Life-long learning is essential, especially in the field of healthcare, which is ever-changing, adapting and improving. I believe my job is to guide the student to realize their potential to be a life-long learner. If you are interested in a healthcare career, the C.N.A. classes for adults or the Health Occupations classes for high school students can be a great stepping stone into many health fields. If I can offer some advice for those looking to go into work as a C.N.A., or any other healthcare career, it would be:
- It is essential that you work hard and be dedicated to your studies to be successful
- Get you foot in the door of a healthcare facility, even if it is in dietary or environmental services, it will be valuable experience
- Be a life-long learner
- Always remember to YOU can make a difference in someone's life!
If you have a caring and compassionate spirit and enjoy helping others, you have the makings to be a wonderful CNA! We are here to guide and support you, and provide you with the knowledge necessary to meet your goals.
