The Adult Education Department offers individualized, computer-based and group instruction for students demonstrating a need to develop basic skills in the following areas:
Current programs include:
Assist students to develop and broaden the life skills necessary to cope with daily life. A partial listing of topics covered includes: oral communications, consumer skills, government/law, health and safety, and job skills and career exploration.
The Reader's Route
Volunteer Tutoring Program
Program addresses skill needs in the area of reading, writing, grammar, punctuation, spelling and math. Volunteers are utilized in coordination with classroom instruction or community based.
