This program is designed to provide a graduate with office skills in addition to advance computer skills to give them a variety of job abilities.

Nature of Work
Graduates of the Office Support Specialist program function as an office's support personnel with extensive training in computer operating systems and software packages. Computer training allows them to integrate software in companies to use advanced features and have a thorough understanding of operating systems, allowing office work to become more efficient.

Jobs
Administrative assistant, office personnel, and mid-management personnel.

Employers
Office Support Specialists can be employed at a variety of businesses and institutions including financial, health and legal service, government agencies, colleges and universities, and private businesses.

Outlook
Overall, employment is expected to grow much faster than average as technology becomes more sophisticated and organizations continue to adopt and integrate these technologies. As more computing power is made available to the individual user and as users develop more knowledge of computers, they become more aware of the computer's potential. The result is a growing demand for office support specialists.

Earnings
