The purpose of Tech Prep is to...

 

Provide a viable pathway leading to high skill, high wage jobs.

Provide an articulated, seamless program of secondary and post secondary education.

Provide a comprehensive program of career guidance.

Integrate academic and vocational education to improve the academic and technical achievement of all students.

Provide work site learning in the preparation of students for a Tech Prep occupation.

Develop partnerships with education, business, industry and labor in planning and implementing Tech Prep.
