Teaching Philosophy
Much of what I teach is required coursework intended to lay a foundation for various health field careers. As a consequence, my goals include teaching my students how to interrelate concepts (rather than merely memorizing facts), and how to apply this new knowledge in their daily lives. Transfer of this learning to their future careers should therefore be greatly facilitated!

Students are expected to invest time and effort in the learning process. Material is tested more than once to encourage retention of information. Multiple methods of teaching are used, including online information and team collaboration.
