Teaching Philosophy
I believe students are entitled to quality instruction. While learning needs to be students centered, students also need to be equal partners in the learning process. My goal is to prepare students to function as highly skilled and competent sonographers and I hope to motivate them with my passion for ultrasound as I have enjoyed my career as a sonographer.
I look to provide a welcoming environment that is interactive and collaborative. This, I believe, promotes problem-solving and critical thinking skills while instilling concepts necessary for the complex world of sonography.
