Teaching Philosophy
I believe that each student is unique and not all students learn in the same way. I enjoy creating new activities and trying new educational techniques and technologies to meet the varying needs of my students. I encourage my students to be self-directed learners and include study techniques with my classroom presentations. I try to instill in my students the joy of learning, especially learning biology. My ultimate goal is that my students are not only successful in my class but can use what they have learned from me be to be successful in future educational endeavors.
