Associate in Applied Science Degree
Return to Cathy Bolser's Instructor Homepage

The Child Care Option in the Early Childhood Program meets the requirements of the State of Illinois for the training of child care directors and workers.  Students should complete most of their work prior to enrolling in EDUC 210, Early Childhood Education Internship.  A criminal background check is required as a prerequisite for EDUC 208 and EDUC 230, and is required for employment in DCFS licensed facilities.

Upon completion of all the requirements of the program a student must show proof of current CPR/First Aid certification.  Those students earning college hours through CDA credentialing must show proof that it is current in order to be awarded a degree.
