Philosophy and Practice:
Education is an endowment that can be
given to everyone. Fill a person with education, and it cannot be taken away.
Every student should have a chance to achieve to their ability. Students should
be assessed fairly, and have a safe learning environment. In education it is
important to teach students a method of inquiry. Students must learn to
question their environment and the people in it. Students must have critical
thinking skills in order to achieve their goals. I encourage students to ask
questions of me and each other every day. I expect them to apply what we are
studying to what is happening in their life.
