The Receptionist/Telecommunications/Records Specialist serves the College as the Operator answering questions and giving direction to the callers inquiring about College functions and programs. The position provides information to appropriate individuals concerning faculty and student class schedules. The position has much exposure to the public and must be able to handle delicate or emergency-type situations with maturity and stability. This position is also responsible for distributing and maintaining class rosters.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma
or GED Certificate; minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m.; demonstrated competency
in word processing software; excellent human relations skills.Desired
qualifications include 1-3 years as an Office Assistant; completion of
One Year Office Systems Certificate; telephone/switchboard experience;
demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Position
is full time, 52 weeks/year, 40 hours/week.Closing
