COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will introduce to the student the types of management often utilized in the manufacturing industry.  It will discuss leadership, ethics, and conflict resolution.  Students will also learn about quality control strategies such as TQM, SPC, and other efforts.
PREREQUISITES:
MFRG110 or MFRG160
NOTES:

COURSE OBJECTIVES / GOALS:
  • The student will learn the various management practices currently utilized in the manufacturing industry.
  • The student will learn leadership types and traits and how they affect the operation of a manufacturing facility.
  • The student will learn about ethics in the workplace.
  • The student will learn about quality - its place in the manufacturing industry, its measurement, control, and achievement in modern industry.
