COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will allow the student to demonstrate and advance the skills acquired in Machining I, II, III and IV through the development of a group project.  Students are further prepared for NIMS testing.

PREREQUISITES:
MFRG163

NOTES:

COURSE OBJECTIVES / GOALS:
  • In order for a student to succeed in today‚Äôs highly technical manufacturing environment, the student will become versed in the fundamental equipment and terminology associated with the machine tool industry.
  • The student will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the mathematics and measuring processes used in the machine tool industry.
  • Students will demonstrate appropriate work ethics via attendance, clean up and maintenance of equipment.
  • The student will demonstrate the skills acquired in Machining I, II, III, and IV through a group (team) work project.
  • The student will be encouraged to seek NIMS credentials.
