Includes the changing workplace, telephone and telecommunication techniques, postal service, processing mail, travel arrangements, planning meetings and conferences, library and Internet research, and presentations.

PREREQUISITES:
BOFF122 and completion of 20 credit hours iin office systems courses with a C average or equivalent work experience.

NOTES:

COURSE OBJECTIVES / GOALS:
  • At the completion of each unit in the course, the student will take a test related to the unit during time allotted by instructor and will achieve a minimum of 70% accuracy.
  • Throughout the course, the student will complete all business related projects with a minimum evaluation score of 70 percent.
  • Given the necessary resources, the student will learn to read, summarize, and evaluate in acceptable format a variety of career-related publications to the instructor’s satisfaction.
