COURSE DESCRIPTION:
An introduction of basic word processing skills using Microsoft Word.  The instruction includes entering, editing, enhancing, and printing text documents.  Course length 8 weeks.

PREREQUISITES:
BOFF114 or ability to keyboard 25 wpm and BOFF130

  • To acquaint students with:
    • developing techniques of entering, revising, and moving text.
    • using Word tools for documents.
    • learning printing features.

EVALUATION:
A point system will be used to determine student grades. Point values will be assigned to all homework, tests, projects, and final exam.  The following percentages will be used in determining grades:

93% - 100% = A
86% - 92% = B
77% - 85% = C
70% - 76% = D
69% - below =F
