RE:	Closing Procedures - DACC

Every effort is made to anticipate inclement weather and other extraordinary
events that would necessitate the College to be closed.

Students are encouraged to listen to area radio and TV stations* for
communication regarding these events.

In the event of inclement weather, an announcement will be made that,
"Classes are canceled, College is closed." In the event that staff members
are to report to work, or that the college will open at a later time, the
media will be notified that, "Classes are canceled but offices will be
open." Students need not report to campus unless classes resume.

In the event the COLLEGE IS CLOSED during the school day, all students may
go home. Students should listen to area radio and TV stations to learn when
the College has re-opened. In the event CLASSES ARE CANCELED, students may
leave but College offices will continue with their regular hours.
