Health Information Technology

Associate in Applied Science Degree

This program is designed to provide students with the skills and expertise to obtain entry-level positions as Health Information Technicians in a variety of settings. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) in cooperation with the Council on Accreditations of the American Health Information Management Association. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Accreditation Examination.

Students must complete INST 101, Success in College, as a requirement for graduation.
