Education: Early Childhood - Paraprofessional Option

Associate in Applied Science Degree

A criminal background check is required for all courses for which students must complete observation hours. Students must complete the criminal background check only once, as long as students are continuously enrolled. Students completing their practicums must meet DCFS requirements.

Upon completion of all the requirements of the program a student must show proof of current CPR/First Aid certification. Those students earning college hours through CDA credentialing must show proof that this is current in order to be awarded a degree.
